Q. My login doesn't work. Why?
A. There are a few reasons why this might occur:
  1. You've entered a wrong login ID/password.
  2. The 'Date and Time' configuration on your computer might be wrong. The quickest way to change this is to right click on the time in the taskbar and choose 'Adjust Date/Time'. This opens the 'Date and Time' window. Correct any discrepancies and click 'Apply' or 'Okay'.
  3. Your browser is not compatible with EZ-Trac. Only Internet Explorer version 7.0 and greater is compatible with EZ-TRAC.
  4. Your Internet options may be blocking you from accessing EZ-Trac. This usually happens if you have your Internet settings don't allow you to accept any 'cookies'. You must enter your Internet options and set it to allow 'cookies' from the EZ-Trac website (www.rsiinc.com).
  5. It's been longer than 30 days since you've logged into EZ-Trac. In this situation, you must call the I.T. department to re-activate your account. Please have your RS&I Login Number and/or Dealer number, usually this is 6 digits, ready when you call.
Q. I don't understand what a certain page does (i.e. particular functions, purpose, etc.). Is there a way to figure that out?
A. There are a few things that you can do:
  1. There is a button in the title bar of the EZ-Trac main page, titled 'EZ-Guide'. There is an 'EZ-Guide' set up for each page that explains the basic usage of that page.
  2. Under the 'Manuals/Forms/Promos' pull down menu there is an option labeled 'EZ-Train'. This is a series of short videos giving a basic overview of all the functions of that page. These videos are updated as the site is updated. The videos are also open to feedback, so if you have a suggestion, e-mail the help desk.

Q. Can I get my DISH Password off the EZ-Trac Website?
A. Yes, here's how:
  1. Login to EZ-Trac.
  2. Click on 'Processing for DISH' pull down menu.
  3. Select 'Request DISH Password'.
  4. Click on the 'Request' button on the page. This dispatches an automail to the e-mail address RS&I has on file.
Q. I requested to reset my password, but I haven't received it yet. Why?
A. There are a few reasons for this:
  1. You must wait 2-5 minutes to receive it after you send the request.
  2. Your e-mail provider is blocking/sending your password to the 'Junk E-Mail' folder. This may happen since the e-mail is dispatched is an 'AutoMail' which some e-mail providers automatically label as 'Junk'. You have a few options from here:
    1. Set up your mailbox so it is able to receive 'AutoMail@rsiinc.com'.
    2. Have your password sent to a different e-mail address. This may require you to set up an alternate e-mail account. If you do this, you need to contact Dealer Administration, so they can change your primary e-mail address to the alternate e-mail address.
Q. When I try and create a new DISH claim, I get directed to a login page for DISH. Do I have to login again?
A. No. There are a couple of reasons this might occur:
  1. Your browser's security settings do allow 'cookies'. Here's what you need to do:
    1. Click on the 'Tools' pulldown menu in your browser.
    2. Select 'Internet Options' from this menu.
    3. Click on the 'Privacy' tab in this window (generally near the top).
    4. (Depending on the browser you're using - i.e. - Internet Explorer .6.0 - 8.0) Click on the 'Sites' or 'Edit' button.
    5. In the line under 'Address of Website' enter in 'echostar.com' and 'dishnetwork.com'.
    6. Click on 'Allow'.
    7. Click on 'Okay'.
    8. Close the 'Internet Options' window by clicking the 'X' or 'Okay'.
    9. Close and then re-open your browser.
  2. Your 'Date and Time' configuration on your computer might be wrong. The quickest way to change this is to double click on the time in the taskbar. This opens the 'Date and Time' window. Correct any discrepancies and click 'Apply' or 'Okay'.
Q. Can I change my password for EZ-Trac on the EZ-Trac Website?
A. Yes - here's how:
  1. Login to EZ-Trac.
  2. Click on the 'My Account' link.
  3. Click on the 'Change Password' link.
  4. Type your current password. Next, enter and re-enter the new password. Then click on the 'Change' button.
Q. Can I change my account information on EZ-Trac Website?
A. Yes - some account information may require you to submit a request for a change. Here's how:
  1. Login to EZ-Trac.
  2. Click on the 'My Account' link.
  3. Click on the 'View Account Information' link.
  4. Here you can change the account e-mail address or click on the 'Dealer Admin Mailbox' link, which this opens an e-mail window.
  5. Enter your change request. Dealer Services will contact you when the e-mail has been received and processed.
